Before First Use
Once your sofa has been delivered and assembled, we recommend giving the surface a light clean or vacuum before first use. During packaging, storage, and transit, small amounts of dust, fabric fibres, or packaging residue may settle on the material. A gentle clean using a soft brush attachment or microfiber cloth will help freshen the surface before placing the sofa into everyday use.
We also recommend allowing cushions and upholstery time to fully settle into shape after unpacking, as compressed packaging can temporarily affect the appearance of certain materials.
Understanding Fabric Behaviour
Certain materials naturally react to lighting, pressure, and daily use. Fabrics such as chenille, plush, velvet-style finishes, and jumbo cord may show shading, pressure marks, or changes in texture direction depending on how the fibres sit. This is a normal characteristic of soft-touch upholstery and should not be considered a fault.
Over time, seating areas may also soften slightly as the sofa settles into regular use, contributing to a more relaxed and comfortable feel.
Quality Checks Before Dispatch
Before any sofa leaves us, each order goes through a series of quality control checks to ensure the product meets our presentation and manufacturing standards. Upholstery, stitching, structure, cushioning, and overall finish are inspected prior to dispatch to help ensure the sofa arrives in suitable condition for delivery.
Packaging & Delivery Preparation
To help protect sofas during storage and transportation, products are carefully packaged before leaving our facility. Protective coverings and compression methods may be used where appropriate to minimise movement and reduce the risk of transit-related damage while the product is being transported to your delivery address.
